The making of the video for The West's Awake was a first for us... neither of us had ever done anything like that before (including the 4.30 am call!) It took us a few days to prepare for it between choosing clothes, styling and practicing singing with our eyes open! The video was directed by Yvonne McGuinness and we're incredibly grateful to her happy with the result. It was a long long day in London's East End but an enjoyable one. Damien Dempsey was a total pro and put us to shame! The result is a beautiful video that we feel represents the song perfectly... Some photos of the goings on of the day can be viewed in the gallery section, hope you enjoy. Lumiere x

Lumiere joined Damien Dempsey for a sell-out show in Dublin's National Concert Hall in Autumn 2008. The girls were joined by Seamus Begley and Donogh Henessey on the night and also performing with Damo and band were Dubliners John Sheehan and Barney McKenna. The night was made extra-special by John, who read out a poem he had written for the legendary Ronnie Drew who sadly passed away that week. Everybody on the night felt an extra special vibe and the gig will go down in history as a night to be remembered. Lumiere performed The West's Awake, a live video of the performance can be viewed above.

Lumiere performed "The West's Awake" on the Late Late show this weekend, with a guest appearance from Damien Dempsey
